THE PULSE OF THE UNIVERSE
I feel
The Pulse of the Universe
Beating within me.
I hear
The Music of the Spheres
Singing to me.
I appreciate
The majestic poetry of eternal motion
That is the voice of the Cosmos.
I am in harmony
With the Universe
I can see
The Oneness of the All
And I am one with the All.
I am One
With my ancestors, friends,
And those who have yet to be
Throughout Time.
I feel
The love and grief
Of those I have left behind.
Now, at last
I know
How it will be
When my time comes
And I see
That the time is not now.
I am one
With all space and time;
I always have been
And always will be.
I know
When my time comes
I will be one again
With all Creation;
I will be One, but never alone.
My human half
Sees
The beauty of the galaxies
My Vulcan half
Marvels
At the natural logic of the All.
I have been granted
A unique privilege
As my two halves meld into one.
I know why
I have been granted this privilege
And I understand
Why I must return.
My unique Destiny
Calls to me
Through the voices of the cosmos;
I must leave, but one day will joyfully return
To again be One
With the Pulse of the Universe.
